ALVA's members are the UK's most popular, iconic and important museums, galleries, palaces, castles, cathedrals, zoos, historic houses, heritage sites, gardens and leisure attractions.

They comprise over 2100 tourist sites, hosting over 110 million domestic and overseas visitors each year - around 28% of the visits made annually in the UK.

We represent our members to Government, media and business and lobby for support for the sector. We provide training, benchmarking and advocacy initiatives and assist our members to continually improve the visitor experience.
